The Welding program offered by Penta Career Center teaches students how to design and assemble metal objects using advanced techniques and equipment.

Owens Community College is offering several welding programs through its Department of Applied Engineering and Industrial Technology.

Washington Local Schools- Whitmer Career & Technology Center
The Welding Technology program available at the Whitmer Career & Technology Center is available for high school students.
9th-grade students take a career exploration class and 10th-grade students take Introduction to Welding & Metal Construction.

Piping Industry Training Center
Piping Industry Training Center is offering apprenticeship classes that prepare students for careers as plumbers, steamfitters, or specialists in mechanical equipment.
The Plumber/Steamfitter path includes several welding classes as well as blueprint reading, hazard recognition, first aid, and many other topics.
The apprenticeships are 5-years long and include paid work and nighttime classes.

Toledo Area Iron Workers 55 Apprenticeship
Toledo Area Iron Workers 55 Apprenticeship is offering programs for students who are over 18 years of age.
Applicants need a high school diploma and a transcript at the time of application.
You can apply at 17 but you must be 18 when accepted.
Members can get their welding certifications at their training center.
