You can choose to go to school eight hours per day, five days a week, or choose a part-time program of four hours per day.

Louisiana State University is offering welding classes as part of their Agricultural and Extension Education and Evaluation and as part of their Mechanical Engineering program.

The university’s catalog includes three welding classes:

• Introduction to Metal and Welding in Agricultural and Extension Education – this class includes 2 hours of lecture and 3 hours of laboratory training.

Before enrolling in the Welding Engineering I program students are required to complete a course in Manufacturing Processes & Methods and a class in Materials of Engineering.
