WDBMS Career Center
WDBMS Career Center is offering a Welding program that prepares students for careers in the welding industry.
Graduates from this program can receive the following credentials: Welder’s Helper, NCCER Welding Level I, and NCCER Welding Level II.
The programs are available for 11th and 12th-grade students.
There is no class fee but students have to pay a $2 identification card fee.

The Welding program offered by South Louisiana Community College prepares students for gainful employment.
The curriculum covers a variety of skills that are currently in demand in the industry.
Students learn oxyfuel cutting, carbon arc cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, flux-cored arc welding, gas metal arc welding, plasma arc cutting, blueprint reading, and more.
