Oxarc Welder Training Program
Oxarc offers welding courses based on industry needs.
The training sessions combine lectures with hands-on experiential learning.
The classes cover all three levels of welding processes, namely Stick, Shield/Inner Shield, Mig, or Tig.
The following courses are available:
- Beginner/Entry-Level
- Intermediate
- Advanced I
- Advanced II
Each level takes five hours to complete.

Anvil Welding Instruction
Anvil Welding Instruction is offering welding classes that are 95% hands-on training.
The school has an 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
The following programs are available:
- Introduction to Welding
- Welding Skill Builder
- Level 1 & Level 2 Combined
- Pipe Welding
- Spec I – GTAW (TIG) Welding

Pacific NW JATC 14 Ironworkers
Pacific NW JATC 14 Ironworkers offers an apprenticeship program that lasts four years.
Apprentices receive a wage that increases over the course of the training.
Before employment, you will need a valid driver’s license and social security card and you have to pay an obligation fee to your local union.
The programs include between 6,000 and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training.

Iron Workers
Iron Workers is offering an apprenticeship program available to students who are over 18.
Apprentices receive a wage that starts at 60 percent of the journeyman rate and increases periodically during the training period.
Wage increases occur once every six months.
The four-year program requires the completion of 204 hours of related classroom training per year.
