Tulsa Tech
Tulsa Tech is offering a Welding Fabricator and a Welding Combination program.
The Fabricator program teaches students the basic entry-level welding techniques while the Combination program teaches students how to utilize advanced welding techniques.
The Combination program can be completed in two school years by high school students and in 18 months by adult students.
The Fabricator program is available for adults and can be completed in five months.
Both programs are available at the school’s Lemley Memorial Campus in Tulsa.

Tulsa Pipe Trades Training Center
Tulsa Pipe Trades Training Center is offering specialized training in heating, air conditioning, pipe fitting, plumbing, and welding.
The apprenticeship program is five years long.
Apprentices work for a contractor during the day and attend three hours of training sessions two nights a week for 36 weeks.
During the first period of training, trainees are remunerated $13.97 per hour.
In total, there are 10 periods of training, each one lasting six months.
At the end of each six-month period, apprentices are evaluated and are advanced if they meet the requirements set forward by the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee.
The hourly wage increases as apprentices advance in their training.
