The Welding major is open to high school juniors and seniors but also to adults.
Students need 900 hours of training for graduation.
This program can be completed in eight months by full-time students and in 16 months by part-time students.

Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 344 Training Center is offering apprenticeship programs that lead to certificates of completion.
Apprenticeships combine on-the-job training under the supervision of an experienced journeyman worker with classroom instruction.
The programs are five-years long and include Welding classes.
Apprentices start by earning half of a journeyman worker’s wage but their salaries increase periodically, as they become more experienced.
