Delaware Skills Center
The Welding and Fabrication program offered by Delaware Skills Center is 18-weeks long.
The curriculum covers topics such as:
- SMAW
- GMAW
- FCAW
- Plasma arc cutting
- Carbon arc cutting
- Oxy/fuel cutting
- Safe and proper setup and use of welding equipment.
To be eligible for admission to this program you must be at least 18 years of age and you need a high school diploma or equivalent.
Tuition is $4,840.

Adult Education Division
Adult Education Division is offering a four-year welding apprenticeship program.
The program is structured into four divisions and covers a variety of topics, such as welding safety, oxy-fuel cutting, base metal preparation, weld quality, groove welds with backing, open V-groove welds, and more.
Tuition is $580 for a full-year welding class.
Students also pay a $120 administrative fee.

Polytech Adult Education
Polytech Adult Education is providing career and trades training at an affordable price.
The school is offering metal fabrication/welding programs that include the following classes:
- Basic Welding
- Welding/Metal Fabrication VI
The classes are 72 hours each and cost $425.

Sussex Tech School District
Sussex Tech School District is offering non-traditional career training programs.
Their catalog includes a Learn to Weld program that consists of 72 hours of hands-on instruction.
Stick, Gas, MIG, or TIG welding classes are available.
Classes are restricted to 15 students.
