UA Local 43
UA Local 43 is offering apprenticeships for plumbers and steamfitters.
The apprenticeship focuses both on classroom and on-the-job training.
The five-year program includes ten periods, each of which includes 1,700 to 2,000 hours of on-the-job training and at least 216 hours of classroom instruction.
Apprentices start with a salary that is equal to fifty-five percent of a journeyman worker’s wage and receive yearly increases.
You need to be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for this program.

The Ironworkers Apprenticeship and Training Department is offering training programs that equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for employment.
The apprenticeship also includes comprehensive safety training.
Graduates are ready for employment in welding, rigging and machinery moving, structural ironworking, ornamental ironworking, and a variety of other sectors.

Metal Makers Classes
Metal Makers is offering welding classes taught by experts in the field.
There are no previous experience requirements for joining a class.
Students who participate in these classes learn how to make objects such as:
